The Pequannock Township Historical Society in Collaboration with the Pequannock Township Public Library presents:

 Keeping the Stories Alive (Holocaust Remembrance) Featuring Jerry Zaks at the Pequannock Township Public Library 7 – 9 PM  Monday January 13th

Gerald Zaks is a second-generation Holocaust survivor who has dedicated himself to preserving the memory of the Holocaust. After retiring from a successful career in IT and computer programming in 2016, he began researching and documenting his parents’ experiences in Poland during the 1930s. His work includes historical records, Nazi documentation, and audio clips from an interview he conducted with his parents in 1980. Since January 2021, Gerald has been giving talks to various groups, reaching over 1400 people in live presentations and nearly 600 views on YouTube. His presentations offer a deeply personal story about the human experience of the Holocaust.
